SpeedyRamp is based at Chesterfield in the UK and operates from premises just off J29A of the M1 Motorway which provides easy access to the M1 corridor and major trunk roads. Based centrally in the UK, we provide both end-users and national accounts with a range of access loading ramps and platforms.
SpeedyRamp consists of a team of experienced individuals, all with many years experience in engineering, transport, commercial and industrial environments. This industry experience is utilised, especially when providing bespoke solutions and tailor made products.
The original batch of ramps were purchased from an Italian manufacturer, by one of the directors, as a selling tool for loading and unloading equipment when carrying out on site demonstrations of equipment. We soon realised the potential for SpeedyRamp in the UK and this quickly developed into a separate business. SpeedyRamp now have exclusivity in the UK for the SpeedyRamp, Loadmaster, Access and Pivot range of ramps and distribute the ramps either directly to end users - or via a network of dealers, agents and mail order companies.
SpeedyRamp now offers a full range of loading solutions. These provide a safe and easy to use alternative to manual and unsafe practices, offering a fixed or removable loading platform, that doesn't take up valuable payload or access to the vehicle.
Over the years we have made regular trips to the Reggio Emelia area of Northern Italy as many of our suppliers are based in this vicinity. One town in particular has become a big favourite and we have become great friends with the characters of the wonderful town of Guastalla and its neighbour Gonzaga.
